Janet Campbell, Ph.D, LPC, LPN
Janet was born in Sharon, PA, but spent most of her young adult life in North Carolina. She graduated from Northern Nash Senior High School in Rocky Mount, NC in 1987. After 25 years of the North Carolina heat, she returned to Pennsylvania. Not having had the resources for college as a young, high school graduate, she decided to go to college as a young adult student. Janet took a semester of accounting classes at Kent State University (15 credits) and a ten-week, certificate class on tax preparation hosted by H & R Block in 1998. She opened a small tax preparation business that she continues to do part-time for low-income residents of Erie, PA. She went on to obtain her nursing license after graduating from Venango Technology Center in Oil City, PA. After almost ten years of nursing, she returned to college and earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix in Arizona. She uncovered a hidden love of learning and a strong desire to help others and so, after her undergrad, she went straight to work on her Master of Arts degree at Edinboro University with a specialty in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her passion for learning and helping got even bigger. So, she returned to school again at Northcentral University where she earned a doctorate in psychology with a specialty focus on Trauma and Disaster relief. Aside from private practice therapy, she volunteers in four different capacities for the Red Cross (disaster response team, disaster health services team, disaster mental health services team, and the integrated care and condolence team). Janet also teaches online and provides internship opportunities for students entering the therapy field.

Bekah J. Mook Senior Administrative Assistant
Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania Bekah has a work ethic that most do not even aspire to. After doing insurance claims investigation in the field for several years, she came to Campbell Counseling and is now an outstanding office manager. What started as a receptionist position and simply answering the phone quickly shifted to the office manager position. She runs the entire office, from scheduling, to insurance claim submission and denial investigations to help with teaching and credentialing new interns. Bekah has grown fond of the work we do here and so she, herself, has returned to school and is working towards her Master of Arts with a specialty in clinical mental health counseling. She will eventually be training her replacement as office manager as she shifts her career to helping others through providing good mental health care.
